Bucky O’Hare and the Toad Wars!

The pilot mini-series of Bucky O’Hare and the Toad Wars. This series introduced us to memorable characters like Bucky O’Hare, Jenny the Aldebaran cat, AFC Blinky, The Toad Air Marshal and Toadborg. The ‘toad wars’ might’ve looked like a loose retelling of Star Wars, but due to the original emphasis put on it by Larry Hama, the pure military feeling and dialogue remain strong… It was truly an excellent series, and a shame it never really caught on.

This is the “Warts and All” Scene/Song from the musical “Honk!” performed at Ventura High School from May 7-17. The Ugly duckling was played by Evan Proffer and the Bullfrog was played by Bradley Shellnut. During the performance the Bullfrog’s microphone malfunctioned and went out so that is why the volume of the actors voices goes down, but you can still hear them.
